Elkin Landscape built a new swimming pool and landscaping for a villa in Meydan. The backyard is 2,699.58 sqft. The pool takes up 1,008.57 sqft of that space. The job included the pool, a water feature, a sculpture, and full lighting.
Location: Meydan
Back yard: 2,699.58 sq ft
Pool size: 1,008.57 sq ft
Scope: Swimming pool construction, water feature, sculpture installation, and outdoor lighting
Timeline: Upto 120 days, completed on schedule
Team on site: 1 project manager, 2 supervisors, up to 15 crew
Approvals: All NOC and community approvals handled directly by Elkin Landscape
This project took upto 120 days from start to handover, and it finished on schedule. One project manager ran the job day to day, backed by two site supervisors and a crew of up to 15 workers on site. The client was happy with the result, and finishing on time was a big part of that.
Most villa projects we take on combine a pool with landscaping. This one leaned more toward a pool, water feature, and a sculpture installation, a more design-focused, sculptural approach to the outdoor space rather than a planted garden. Coordinating a custom water feature and sculpture around a 1,000-plus square foot pool takes the same structural planning as any pool build. It also needs added coordination for how water moves, how the sculpture is lit at night, and how the whole space reads as one composition rather than separate elements.
Outdoor lighting played a bigger role on this project than most, since a water feature and sculpture both depend on lighting to actually read well after dark, not just the pool itself.
Yes. Every villa pool build in Dubai needs approval before work starts, and villas in a managed community also need an NOC from the developer. Elkin Landscape handles both for you — we submit to Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Nakheel, Emaar, and DAMAC directly, so you never have to chase paperwork. Dubai Municipality requires engineering drawings and site plans before any pool build can start; skip that step and the project stalls before it begins.
Outdoor upgrades like this are becoming more common across the UAE —the landscaping market here was worth USD 1.8 billion in 2025 and is expected to nearly double by 2032.
We build villa landscaping projects the same way we built this one — pool, hardscape, and lighting planned together, not added one at a time. If you want a new swimming pool, our design team can walk you through layout options first. See more finished projects on our portfolio page.

The pool is 1,008.57 sqft, inside a 2,699.58 sqft backyard. That left room for a raised platform and a water feature around it.
Yes. Villas in managed communities need an NOC from the developer, on top of Dubai Municipality approval. Elkin Landscape handles both.
Yes. This project is an example of that, a pool, water feature, and sculpture installation coordinated together, rather than a standard pool and landscaping combination.
